The Asparagus officinalis \’Boonlim\’ is anearly variety oflarge spears with purple tips. A high yielding variety. When planting new crowns, refrain from harvesting the first year, and harvest only a few spears the following one to allow the plant to become stronger. Plant in a light soil, dig in sand if your soil is heavy clay. In Autumn, once the feather foliage has gone yellow, cut back.
