Elstead Carisbrooke 8-Light Chandelier

The Elstead Carisbrooke 8-Light Chandelier is a Gothic-inspired candelabra ceiling fitting from the Carisbrooke range by Elstead, hand crafted in the United Kingdom. Its sweeping profile and ivory-coloured candle tubes recall traditional chandeliers while providing a central source of ambient illumination for interior spaces.

Design-wise the fitting pairs a matte black metal frame with distinctive hand-bound wire drapes that gather at a cylindrical top hub and fall to meet the curved arms. Eight vertical candle-style points sit atop shallow saucer bobeches, creating a balanced, period-led silhouette. The Carisbrooke range can accept optional glass across certain models if required.

Constructed from metal with an artisanal assembly of thin wire strands, the chandelier emphasises a hand-crafted appearance and contrasting tonal detail between the dark frame and light candle tubes. The product is manufactured by Elstead Lighting in England and carries a general two-year warranty.

The fitting utilises eight flame-shaped candle-style bulbs to deliver ambient, decorative light through multiple points. It is intended as a central decorative ceiling light for interiors; the product is rated IP20 for indoor use and not designed for exposed wet zones.

Installation is by ceiling chain suspension from a heavy-duty chain; some sizes in the Carisbrooke range offer a flush-convert option on specified models to allow chain-to-semi-flush adaptation. Confirm model compatibility, bulb requirements and dimming needs when specifying.
