Lampes Gras No 411 Floor Lamp

Originally designed in 1921, the No 411 Floor Lamp is an elegant, durable, light made to stand the test of time in both appearance and function. With a pivoting arm, the No 411 is fully adjustable and available with either a round or conical shade in a range of stunning different colours – perfect for providing direct or ambient light.

Part of the Lampe Gras series, this floor lamp belongs to a collection designed by Bernard-Albin Gras for use in offices and in industrial environments. The functional aesthetic of his lamps, in particular the design of details such as the arms, stems, brackets and bases were truly original and far ahead of his time. Enjoyed by many influential architects and artists at that time such as Le Corbusier and Eileen Gray, the lamps were astounding in their minimal, robust, yet highly ergonomic design, giving users years of long-lasting illumination.

Today, this flexible architectural design has led to an understated elegance that can give any room a touch of contemporary style; a modern aesthetic that complements a variety of interior styles and spaces. Different finishes and carefully considered size options make this collection truly versatile and include wall, table, ceiling and floor lamps.
